How can I get the most traffic and exposure out of my blog content?
I write a new blog post almost every day and want to really drive lots of traffic. The problem is that I get the sense that one post a day (while more than most bloggers) is such a tiny drop in the ocean that no one will ever find my articles.
How can I squeeze as much traffic from each bit of content I write without having to pay for advertising?

Find as many channels for your content as possible!
One of the best techniques for getting additional coverage for a blog post, is to find different channels to spread it through.
For example, a blog post may have a picture. If you make sure your blog's picture is interesting in its own right, you could post it to Pinterest. This allows Pinterest users, who wouldn't otherwise come across your post, to find it via the image and click through to your blog.
In the same way you might consider adding video blogs to accompany written blog content. Post the videos to YouTube. This allows people watching videos to click through to your blog.
There's nothing stopping you from collating a whole bunch of blog posts into a free eBook either. eBooks can be uploaded to Scribd to attract traffic from there. eBooks can also be marketed separately and drive traffic in their own right.
Try different types of blog content. Try create a competition or quiz. Unique and original content can be promoted and marketed in different ways, generating different traffic patterns and leading to great exposure.
Be creative. That's one of the fun things about blogging.
